Oathbound 2026 — My House: What the Second Annual Men's Summit Is About

The 2nd Annual Oathbound Men's Summit returns November 20-21 at Embassy Metro Detroit. This year's theme — My House — asks a narrower, harder question than last year did.

A narrower question. A harder one.

Last year, the first Oathbound Men’s Summit opened with four frames: The Grace of Mastery, Oath to Christ, Oath to Self, Oath to Family. The room filled. The teaching landed. The brothers went home different. One year later, the question for the 2nd Annual Oathbound Men’s Summit is narrower, and harder.

My House. What happens under my roof?

That is the question Oathbound 2026 is asking.

Why the house

The theme is not accidental. In most of the places men break — in silence, in secret, in fatigue, in disappointment — the breaking happens inside the house they built. Not on a stage. Not in traffic. Under their own roof, where no one is watching, with the people who know them best.

Scripture takes the house seriously. “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1). “He must manage his own household well” (1 Timothy 3:4). The house is not a backdrop to a man’s calling. It is the ground of it.

Oathbound 2026 is a weekend about the house.

What to expect

Friday night — My House. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. General intercessory prayer at 6:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. At 7:00 p.m., Bishop Hugh Daniel Smith opens the summit with the general session, My House. Friday closes with the Right Hand of Fellowship — more than fifty men stepping into Oathbound covenant in front of the room. Most men there will not be the ones being inducted. That is the reason to be in the room.

Saturday — The Teaching. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. General intercessory prayer at 8:30 a.m. Program runs 9:00 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. — teaching sessions through the morning, closing with the new recruit and next level ceremony.

Shift workers were in mind when we built this schedule. Three prayer times, two days, enough shoulder in the morning and evening to actually make it through. We want you in the room. We built the room so you could be.

You do not have to be Oathbound

Most of the room will not be. Yet.

If you are a man asking the question — What happens under my roof? Who am I in that house? What am I building there? — the summit is for you. If you are an Oathbound brother, this is your weekend. If you are somewhere in between, come anyway.

In-person only. Not livestreamed. Being in the room is the point.

Register

Tickets are $25 per man, purchased through Eventbrite. Transferable — if you cannot come, hand yours to another man in the house. If cost is a real barrier, reach the Embassy Metro Detroit office. We will make a way.

See you November 20.
