Any covenant member of Embassy Metro Detroit walking through a crisis moment — hospitalization, terminal diagnosis, loss of a loved one, or a family emergency where pastoral presence is needed quickly.
Critical Care is Embassy’s dedicated pastoral response for the hardest seasons — the hospital call at 2 a.m., the diagnosis nobody was ready for, the loss that changes a family’s whole shape. Pastors Iron and Amy Johnson stand ready to come alongside your Sheepfold Pastor with immediate pastoral presence, prayer, and continued care through the moment and beyond.
You do not have to navigate the hardest moments alone, and you do not have to figure out on your own who to call. Your Sheepfold Pastor or the Embassy office will loop Critical Care in the moment the need surfaces.
When to reach for Critical Care
- Hospitalization of a covenant member or their immediate family
- Terminal diagnosis, hospice, and end-of-life care
- Sudden loss, grief, and funeral coordination alongside the Funerals & Bereavements ministry
- Family emergency requiring immediate pastoral presence
Every situation is held in confidence. Critical Care works quietly, in tandem with your Sheepfold Pastor and — when appropriate — the Ministry of Helps for practical support.
