Prayer at the altar of Embassy Covenant Church International
An Invitation

Do you want to know Christ?

If yes, this page is written for you. A prayer to begin. A doctrine to understand. A community to gather with.

Step 01
The Prayer of Salvation

A confession you can pray right now.

If your heart is stirring toward Christ, the New Testament is unambiguous about what you do next. You confess with your mouth and believe in your heart.

"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." — Romans 10:9

Pray this with us

I confess and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

I believe you died in my place for my sin and was raised to life for my righteousness and acceptance before God.

I believe I am saved and healed by your blood.

If you prayed that prayer today, we would love to walk with you. The next step is baptism — the public seal of what has just happened inside you.
Step 02
Water Baptism

Obedience that releases faith.

Right standing before God comes first. Then baptism. Embassy baptizes believers — and in that act, obedience releases and activates the faith already alive in you. Baptism is a circumcision of the heart, a seal of the righteousness of your faith, and your burial with Christ so that a new life may rise.

What Embassy Believes

Baptism is for believers. Faith is demonstrated through baptism.

Baptism aligns us with the headship of the Lord Jesus Christ — a circumcision of the heart, a seal of righteousness, a cutting away of the old nature of sin.

Baptism identifies us with Christ in His death — the old man is buried, and we rise to walk in newness of life.

A believer should be baptized in the name of Jesus — into the person, character, and nature of the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

Mk. 16:16 · Acts 8:36-37 · Acts 16:30-33 · Acts 19:1-5 · Col. 2:9-13 · Rom. 6:1-14 · Rom. 4:11
