My Passion
Pastor Sherrod is the creator of “Behind the Grind Podcast with Sherrod Schuler.”
Behind the GRIND Podcast interviews bold entrepreneurs, influencers, ministers and mission-minded leaders who carry a faith-based focus and strategy for impact and change in the marketplace. In addition, the podcast provides weekly words of encouragement and inspiration for marketplace leaders each Monday with a “The 10-Minute Commute.”
Sherrod is the proud husband and father to his “fine” wife Pastor Bridgette and beautiful daughter Autumn.
My Community
Sherrod believes we are all overcomers. His mission is to help people conquer their fears, challenges, and difficult life setbacks to become victorious in Christ. He has used his gift of speaking to encourage, inspire, and motivate individuals in the church, community, and the marketplace.
Pastor Sherrod and his wife have relocated from Metro Detroit to the Metro Atlanta area where they are currently planting Embassy of Atlanta!

As an accomplished leadership professional with significant achievements in financial services and disaster relief, Sherrod has used marketplace ministry to help both businesses and people rebuild.
Currently, as a public affairs professional with the U.S. Small Business Administration / Office of Disaster Assistance Sherrod has used his passion for speaking to help people who have suffered from tragedy to recovery. Sherrod plays a critical role in communicating disaster relief information to individual survivors, businesses, state/local government, media, underserved communities, and volunteer organizations that have been impacted by natural or manmade disasters. After a disaster strikes, Sherrod leads a team, with boots on the ground, in devastated areas to assist in the financial relief efforts.
In addition, aside from public affairs, Sherrod is a Co-author of Courageous World Catalysts and Rising Above. Recently, he was selected as a contributing author in the world re-known book series Chicken Soup for the Soul: Running for Good. He is the podcast host of Behind the Grind. He is a Certified Speaker and Extreme Execution Life Coach with Eric Thomas and Associates.
Sherrod received his bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University and holds a MBA from Spring Arbor University.
